Steffi Fernando

Steffi is a Development Manager with a background in infrastructure, finance and renewable energy, specializing in strategy, stakeholder engagement and delivering complex projects.

Alongside her professional career, Steffi has spent more than 15 years volunteering with children and young people across Australia and internationally through organizations including Girl Guides, Scouts, The Pyjama Foundation and Barnardo’s. Her experience spans mentoring, educational programs and youth leadership, with a passion for helping young people build confidence and realize their potential.

Steffi was drawn to Youth in Motion because of its commitment to ensuring every young person has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their circumstances. She is excited to contribute her strategic experience and long-standing commitment to youth development to support the organization’s continued growth and impact.

Outside of work, Steffi enjoys camping, spending time outdoors and being involved in her local community.
